~2022 – present · Utrecht, NL

Leading UX for tax compliance software used across the Dutch market, managing a six-person team and running three parallel tracks: individual craft, strategic initiative and operational management.

  • Founded UX as a strategic function, building governance, measurement and operating models from nothing, with influence rather than mandate.
  • Operationalised the design system through Storybook, consolidating 20 button variants to 4 and cutting refinement rounds from 12 to 4 on large work; adoption grew from one team to all ten.
  • Led the UX for Tex, the AI tax assistant now used by ~5,000 people daily, focused on trust, clarity and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Built an Adobe Analytics measurement layer that made design value attributable to Product and leadership in their own language.
  • Created a UI Engineer role inside the UX team and surfaced Storylane, carrying it across Design, Product, Support and Marketing.
