I am Rawaz Tahir, a UX Lead based in Utrecht. I work on complex digital products. One change can break validation, audit or legal rules. Getting the experience right there is a matter of trust.
My background spans product design, UI design, web and visual design. Over time my focus has shifted from designing single screens to improving the way a team builds products: design systems, team workflows, research habits and stakeholder alignment. I like building elaborate structures, so I have learned to ask one question first: what is the simplest version people will actually use?

I joined as a Senior UX Designer on 14 November 2022 and built most of the UX function before I had the lead title.

Outside work I cook a lot, run a fairly over-engineered smart home, and tend to take on personal builds that are bigger than strictly necessary. The common thread is the same one in my work: I enjoy taking a messy system and making it run cleanly.
