I am Rawaz Tahir, a UX Lead based in Utrecht. I work on complex digital products where a single change cascades into validation, audit and legal constraint, and where getting the experience right is a matter of trust, not decoration.
My background spans product design, UI design, web and visual design. Over time my focus has shifted from designing individual interfaces to improving the systems behind better product design: design systems, team workflows, research habits, stakeholder alignment and UX maturity. I am drawn to elaborate architecture, and I have learned to check that pull deliberately: if a simpler version gets most of the value, it wins, because adoption is the real metric.
Outside work I cook a lot, run a fairly over-engineered smart home, and tend to take on personal builds that are bigger than strictly necessary. The common thread is the same one in my work: I enjoy taking a messy system and making it run cleanly.
